연제: 90 degree-twisted epitaxy and in-plane anomalous Hall effect in oxide thin films
초록: Spatial modulation of lattice distortion through epitaxial engineering represents a powerful approach for designing and tailoring emergent phenomena in quantum materials, but a chiral modulation of interfacial lattice structure has rarely been explored. Here we report the observation of various chiral and spiral modulations of the interfacial lattice structure in SrIrO3/TbScO3 films, by taking advantage of an intriguing 90?-twisted epitaxial relationship. Below the magnetic transition temperature, we observed an in-plane anomalous Hall effect (IPAHE), which critically depends on the crystalline orientation of the film. The IPAHE is found to be closely correlated with the structural chirality, as evidenced by a low spatial symmetry that is decoupled from the recipient lattice symmetry, and an asymmetric dependence on the azimuthal angle.
